Creating Achievements
Create achievements, set their unlock condition, choose what they grant, and add platform IDs.
Creating Achievements
Achievements are goals that unlock automatically as soon as their condition becomes true — a first victory, a hundred wins, a finished tutorial. You manage them from the Achievements tab of the Element Explorer on the Design tab.
Creating an Achievement
In a workspace, click New Achievement, name the achievement in the Inspector — e.g. "First Victory", with the slug first_victory — fill in the fields below and click Save. The fields every element shares are covered in Navigating Leap Studio.
- Unlock condition — when the achievement is earned. It unlocks automatically as soon as this condition becomes true — for example, when
wins >= 1. See Conditions. - Unlocks — the changes applied when the achievement unlocks, in order — for example, add 100 to
goldor set a flag to true. See Operations and Effects. - Platform IDs — the matching achievement identifier for each store you ship on: iOS, Android, Xbox, PlayStation and Steam. Every field is optional — leave one empty to leave that platform out.
Tip: An achievement with an empty unlock condition never unlocks on its own. Use that when something else should decide: unlock it with an Achievement effect from an operation, set to 1.
