Creating Entitlements

Create entitlements, link them to store products, and choose what they grant when purchased.

Creating Entitlements

Entitlements describe what a player receives from a store purchase — a starter pack, ad removal, premium content. You manage them from the Entitlements tab of the Element Explorer on the Design tab.

Creating an Entitlement

In a workspace, click New Entitlement, name the entitlement in the Inspector — e.g. "Starter Pack", with the slug starter_pack — fill in the sections below and click Save. The fields every element shares are covered in Navigating Leap Studio; unlike most elements, an entitlement's slug must be unique across the whole project, not just within its group.

Availability

The Availability section describes where the entitlement can be bought and what it is expected to cost:

  • Conditions — the entitlement can be purchased only while these conditions pass. Leave them empty to always offer it. See Conditions.
  • iOS — the App Store product ID, e.g. com.game.starter_pack.
  • Android — the Google Play product ID, e.g. starter_pack.
  • Est. cost (USD) — what you expect the purchase to cost, for your own reference. It can't be negative.

Unlocks

Under Unlocks, list the changes applied when the entitlement is granted, for example after a store purchase — such as adding 500 to gems and setting a no_ads flag to true. Effects apply in order. See Operations and Effects.
